My plan now is to keep her indoors away from any flies until her wounds heal. We use to use Jeyes fluid diluted and wash the bums of sheep ( my job) the jeyes keept the flies away and burnt the maggots. The main way is to control the fly population. like 8doubles says, fly strike and sheep remember it well, yes they eat flesh and keep eating if not stopped I cringe at the thought.
